Management Team

Dr. Kathy Russo
Founder and Chief Executive

Along with Joel Salamone, Kathy co-founded StorageHawk in 2004. Since inception Kathy has built a company that can best be described as responsive, focused, and consistently delivering top results. Her input into operational improvement has been instrumental in organizational performance and management decision making. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Science, and a Doctorate in Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys playing golf, travel, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joel Salamone

Joel co-founded StorageHawk in 2004, and is instrumental in leading business development initiatives and ensuring client satisfaction. Prior to StorageHawk, he worked in leadership roles for leading technology integrator companies SAIC (US Department of Education), IBM, and EDS. During the late 90's, he also worked as the Senior Director of Technology for The Motley Fool. His vast experience in the IT industry and Federal Government enables him to work collaboratively and efficiently with customers to develop solutions.

Joel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Joel enjoys spending time with his son Reid and his rescue dog Ernie.

Daniel Furth
Vice President

Daniel joined StorageHawk in 2009, and is responsible for IT design, architecture, and serves as the technology representative to most of StorageHawk’s vendors. Daniel’s IT career spans 32 years, including everything from Winchester disk drives, token ring networks and VAX/VMS to zero clients, solid state arrays, and cloud computing. After technical jobs at Fortune 500 companies like GTE and IBM, he settled into sales and sales management in 2001 and has been enjoying that role ever since.

Daniel is a dedicated and accomplished first responder as a public safety diver, and received the Star of Life award from the State of Maryland for his role in a life saving rescue operation in the Chesapeake Bay.

Steve Page
Chief Financial Officer

Steve joined StorageHawk in 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, and order fulfillment functions for the company. He joined StorageHawk from E*TRADE Financial where he was a Senior Manager within the Secondary Mortgage Markets group. Before E*TRADE, he was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton focusing on financial management and procurement issues for Federal government customers. Steve is a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and an MBA from American University.

Steve is a loyal fan of his alma mater, the University of Iowa. Go Hawkeyes!

Liz Glennon
Director of Marketing and Channels

Liz came to StorageHawk in 2009, and is responsible for developing effective strategies to drive sales goals, fostering strong relationships with partners and vendors, keeping abreast of current industry knowledge, and organizing all trade shows and product seminars. Before joining StorageHawk, she worked in sales and marketing positions with NVR Inc. and Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. Liz has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.

If you call and get Liz’s voicemail, it’s because she is also fierce about her outdoor activities—hiking, biking, and trail running.
